Auckland Tour Examples

Auckland City Spectacular $195pp
Departs from the Albany heliport to over-fly the North Shore, Chelsea Sugar Works, Harbour Bridge, Upper harbour towards Point Chevalier, Auckland Zoo, Mt Eden and Eden Park.  The flight then tracks across Waitemata Harbour to Devonport Naval Base, North Head, Rangitoto Island, east coast beaches and their multi-million houses before returning to the heliport.

Flight time approximately 20 minutes and is Auckland’s most popular helicopter scenic flight


West Coast Auckland adventure $295pp 
This is the most visually spectacular scenic flight. The flight covers Auckland city, Waitakere Ranges, a feature of Auckland’s western skyline and some New Zealand’s most rugged coastline, wild surf beaches featured in international movies such as The Piano. Fly over Mount Eden, Mt Hobson, North Head and Rangitoto volcanic cone, across the harbour towards the beautiful East Coast beaches then return heliport.

Auckland by Night or Sunset $195pp
The flight tracks across the Harbour Bridge for Auckland City and its surrounding suburbs.  At sunset the landscape softens and at night familiar identities such as volcanic cones disappear altogether and in their place; the lights of the city and structures such as Ericsson Stadium, Alexandra Raceway, Eden Park or some of the local tennis courts combine to create a surreal view of the city.

0900 Courtesy vehicle pick up from Downtown Auckland

0930 Depart Albany Heliport

1010 Fly East Whangarei we wind our way up the river to view a beautiful waterfall, then over-fly Tutukaka Harbour, a popular game- fishing port

1040 Continue North to the famous ‘Hole in the Rock’, then on to Cape Brett and the Lighthouse where we land for 15 minutes, to stretch legs and take unique photos

1055 Fly over the Bay of Islands, landing in Russell, for a stroll around the wharf, the waterfront, the shops and even the cemetery

1200 Arrive at Omata Estate for lunch-One of NZ’s foremost chefs will create a culinary adventure that compliments your exciting day or perhaps fly a little further north to the famous Kingfish Lodge. This rustic fishing lodge has a unique position at the entrance to Whangaroa Harbour and is only accessible by boat or helicopter

1430 After lunch fly across Waipoua Forest, landing at the Matakohe Museum

1615 From Matakohe we travel across to Sheep World

1730 Return to the heliport where a courtesy vehicle will return you to the City
